About Us and Our Vision
The Shamba Foundation is a funding organization to help and support children in Kenya. Several members of our Board of Directors and team have lived in and/or visited Kenya multiple times. We work extremely hard to provide for children living in vulnerable circumstances. It is our intent and hope to generate contributions in the support of these efforts.

Now and the Future
The short-term goal of The Shamba Foundation, is to sustain life with basic necessities and a formal education. Education is the most promising opportunity for the children to achieve their dreams in the future.
The long-term goal is to raise the funds to purchase a location outside the slums, moving the children into an environment that will provide the opportunity for employment, self-reliance, and a hopeful future.

Our Beginnings
We are so grateful to KSL TV for chosing to spotlight the dire circumstances that many of these children live in. In 2018 they traveled to Kenya and spent time with some of these beautiful kids. They also interviewed some of our board members. KSL's Keira Farrimond, Ray Boone and Deanie Wimmer attended our Shamba Safari Chase event. Keira even ran in the 5k. This story explains a bit of the history of how and why the Shamba Foundation was created. And although we are no longer associated with Steven, our mission remains the same. We work with organizations and individuals that share our goals to Nourish, Educate, and Empower the children of Kenya. Please join us!
